Bangladesh vs South Africa 3rd ODI highlights and scorecard, Bangladesh wins the series

Wow! What a game Bangladesh played against the mighty South Africa. They first bundled one of the best teams in World in less than 200, and then won the match in 26.1 over with 9 wickets in hand. This Bangladesh vs South Africa 3rd ODI was without doubt one of the most one sided matches of the recent times. South Africa started their Bangladesh tour so well; no one expected that their tour will end with such a humiliating defeat. Bangladesh on the other hand proved the critics wrong who said that their win against Indian was just a fluke and it happened mainly because of the fact that Indian players were very tired after the world cup and IPL.

Third match of the one day series was played in Chittagong Divisional Stadium, the crowd was expecting a cracker of a match from their international cricket team. Since the team had a good chance to win the series the stadium was full and yesterday’s game was a great experience for them. But one thing as a cricket lover yesterday’s game was totally disappointing as South Africa was unable to put any challenge against the home team. The South African team is now facing a lot of backlash from their home media who are criticizing the team and they want some players to be removed immediately from the team and that includes the captain Hashim Amla, actually it is the skipper who is getting the most blame of them all. Amla also did not perform well at all in the series and the media is saying that like tennis South African Cricket team also has a non playing captain. Hashim Amla is also very disappointed with the result of 3rd ODI and he could not even hide his disappointment after the match. Everyone expected Bangladesh to put up a good fight against the South African side but no one thought that one of the top cricketing nations in the world would play like this. Today they played exactly like one of the teams who just qualified for one day international cricket. Even the world famous South African fielding was sloppy yesterday. No one knows what happened to the team and people feel that it is time these players are replaced, after all these so called big players were unable to give the team any great in the World Cup 2015 either. This series will now be counted as one of the black point in South African cricket history.

But anyway all the congratulation in the world is reserved for this Bangladesh team as they once again proved that this time they actually have a team that can beat any team in the international cricket. They are not the team who are just there as tourists or to feel up the space. They also have some superstar cricketers now in the form of Soumya Sarkar and Mashrafe Mortaza, the later is now officially the most successful captain in Bangladesh cricket history now.

In yesterday’s Bangladesh vs South Africa 3rd ODI match South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. The match started 3 hours later than the schedule time because of rain. The umpire decided to go for 40 over match. South Africa scored a total of 168 with the loss of 9 wickets. JP Duminy scored 51 off 70 balls, while David Miller scored 44 off 51 balls. Shakib Al Hasan was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets. He also only gave away 33 runs.

Bangladesh chased the total in just 26.1 over with the loss of only 1 wicket. Soumya Sarkar scored very impressive 90 in just 75 balls; he was declared the man of the match.

Bangladesh vs South Africa 3rd ODI match proved that cricket is one of the most unpredictable games ever.
