Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur Premier League 2015 Predictions Who Will Win 22nd Aug 2015

Leicester City have been the surprise package of the season so far, winning both of their matches with good margins and currently standing second in the table. It is not only the home game on the opening game that they won but also made sure that they won the away fixture against West Ham. West Ham were playing on the back of the winning momentum of beating Arsenal, but that did not stop Leicester’s juggernaut.

Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino is looking ahead to a competitive clash and will expect complete fight from the local team. He said

“They’ve started very well. I think they played very well last season, they signed some very good players, got good organisation. Ranieri has a lot of experience in football and they’ve started the season very well. We expect a very tough game against Leicester.

The Premier League is very long and we need to keep the same level,” he added. “We need to improve in areas like the defence and we need to be more consistent. I think everyone says that we need an offensive player but we need to be more consistent because we conceded a lot of goals last season and scoring wasn’t our problem. The problem was that we concede a lot of goals and that’s something that we need to improve this season.”

Leicester manager, Claudio Ranieri, on the other hand said:

“We want to build our foundation and with a big foundation you can then build the first floor, second floor and everything. [Gokhan] Inler is one of our foundations. I remember when nobody wanted to go to Naples. But after Maradona, everyone wants to go to Naples.

If we start to build maybe in three or four years a lot of players will want to come to Leicester. Why not?”
