Mexico wins the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015 world cup finals

The CONCACAF Gold Cup championship match was played on Sunday resulted in an amazing win with Mexico grabbing the title of the winner for the seventh time against Jamaica. The three players who are worth mentioning in this game are Darren Mattocks, Oribe Peralta, and Manuel Corona.

The first half of the game came to an end with Mexico leading by the score of 1-0 in this Gold Cup final. In the 19 minutes, Mexico still did not have a shot while Jamaica had one shot to its name. However Mexico soon caught up with the best of players and their kicks.

Mexico won the CONCACAF 2015 world cup after four years and this is the seventh time that it is carrying the winner’s trophy with a proud head held high. In the quarter finals, the main hero of the game was Guardado who gave a couple of great penalty licks that led to their victory against Costa Rica as well as the semi finals in Panama and he was also named as the Golden ball winner because of his great performance all throughout the game. Jamaica was always under pressure with Mexico playing in an unparallel manner. Mexico played like never before with the aim of the gold cup in mind and after the second half of the game Jamaica Gold keeper Thompson missed out on the high flying goal by Corona in the 47th minute.Peralta also smoothly achieved his attempt after Michael Hector failed to clear a cross in the fields. Michael- the defender of Jamaica whiffed on the ball and the ball smoothly rolled from his legs to Peralta who as smoothly scored his fourth goal in the tournament.

Darren Mattocks from Jamaica scored a goal in the 80th minute however it was not much of a help for Jamaica in the last few minutes of the game.

Mexico had very strong contenders for the game. Their goalkeeper was led by Moises Muñoz (Club America), Guillermo Ochoa (Malaga), Jonathan Orozco (Monterrey) while the defenders were Paul Aguilar (Club America), Oswaldo Alanis (Chivas Guadalajara), Yasser Corona (Queretaro), Miguel Herrera (Pachuca), Miguel Layun (Watford), Diego Reyes (Porto), Francisco Javier Rodriguez (Cruz Azul), midfielders were Jonathan Dos Santos (Villarreal), Jesús Dueñas (Tigres), Andres Guardado (PSV Eindhoven), Hector Herrera (Porto), Antonio Rios (Toluca), Jorge Torres Nilo (Tigres), Jose Juan Vazquez (Leon) and players who played for the forwards were Jesus Corona (FC Twente), Giovani Dos Santos (LA Galaxy), Carlos Esquivel (Toluca), Javier Orozco (Santos Laguna), Oribe Peralta (Club America), Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad).

Jonathan Dos Santos played with Paul Agui;ar in the right and then suddenly jumped to the left post where Guardado connected on a one-timed effort. Guardado also played very well .Mexico stood among the champions for the first time in four years .Mexico beat Jamaica by 3-1 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field Sunday night to win its record seventh Gold Cup championship in the CONCACAF and its first since 2011. Andres Guardado, Jesus Corona and Oribe Peralta were the heroes of the game who will be playing 2013 Gold Cup champion USA in an October 9 play off in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
