Norwich City vs Crystal Palace Premier League 2015 Predictions and Preview Who Will Win 08th Aug 2015
All the newly promoted teams will be in action on the opening day of the inaugural weekend of the Premier League 2015-16. Norwich City who secured their spot in the Premier League this season, by securing a victory over Middles borough earlier this year, will want to start on the winning note. However, the history suggests that Norwich have never won any of their past 12 opening day matches, wit 6 draws and 6 losses.
The thing going for them this season has been their dynamic manager, Alex Neil. Neil has been instrumental in getting Norwich City, who has played at this level couple of seasons back. With his confidence and attitude, Norwich has come a long way in a short time.
The situation with the opposition is somewhat similar too. Alan Pardew has been a key factor in changing Crystal Palace’s fortunes last season. Sacked by Newcastle United, Pardew was appointed Palace’s manager in the winter transfer window last season. Generally a team battling the relegation battle, Palace did exceptionally well in breaking through to the top half of the table. They had some memorable results last season and would take all that they can from there to start well this time around.
Palace also managed to sign, arguably, the most impressive signing of this summer, Yohan Cabaye. The signing from Paris Saint Germain, shows the signs of intent from the manager. The impressive display of Wilfried Zaha and Jason Puncheon will also be a key aspect in their success, the coming year. All in all, Palace looks set to improve upon what they had last season. They might just be a genuine competitor for Europa league this season.
