Questions over release of Sreesanth BCCI India
Many questions were raised after Sreesanth was released by Delhi High Court. Did he really didn’t do anything? – Even though the question was straightforward but the answer is anything else but simple. Even the facts have been presented but still it can make anyone think that the answer was not quite simple but poses another question instead that whether Ajay Jadeja did not do anything as well?
In the year 2003, Justice JK Mehra, released the ban imposed on Ajay Jadega for his involvement in match fixing scandals. Earlier inquiry commission clearly indicated involvement of Ajay Jadega in the match fixing controversies which lead to a five year long ban from playing any form of cricket. With few hearings and facts, the decision went in favor of Ajay Jadega. He was released and was allowed to play Ranji Cricket. Ajay also hosted IPL and became an expert in Cricket. Despite what the courts have decided, the reports and suspect involvement remains present still. If the person is prosecuted for any crime, the prosecution can prove a case of doubt, which can change the outcome of final decision. In the reports taken by CBI, it clearly mentions calls were exchanged between a bookie and Jadega while jadeja claimed that he did not knew him in person. If many calls were exchanged between the two, then how come someone make such claims. This really poses serious doubts over final decision taken by court. All the same is relevant to Sreesanth and detailed reports taken by Ravi Sawani. The bookie held by the police admitted to give signal for confirm fix by wearing a towel. Sreesanth said that the Police accused him for doing the fix. Sreesanth has clearly denied any involvement and knowledge about the fixing and admitted that he did not under perform intentionally. It was trickier that Sreesanth earlier confessed but later on he admitted to have confessed only due to duress and in order to keep the officers happy, which doesn’t explain anything. The BCCI India now seems to be drowning in a pool where bigger problems are creeping up in cricket.
