Trinidad Tobago vs Cuba Gold Cup 2015 Prediction and Preview Who Will Win

Trinidad Tobago vs Cuba Gold Cup 2015 Prediction and Preview Who Will Win

Trinidad & Tobago would be competing against Cuba in the next match of Group C. In the initial matches of Group C, Trinidad & Tobago won comfortably against Guatemala with a comfortable 3-1 victory, on the other hand, Cuba had to suffer a major 6-0 loss against Mexico in earlier encounter.

In the first stage Trinidad & Tobago have won against Guatemala with 3-1 as the goals for Trinidad came in the first half. They achieve the victory early in that game. From the other side Cuba have lost bad from Mexico with 6-0. Cubans are the outsiders of the group and maybe of the whole tournament. In this match against Trinidad & Tobago it will be clear if they have any chances to go ahead.

Cuba national team is made of local players all of them playing in Campeonato Nacional de Futbol de Cuba. The lost from strong team of Mexico have shown that Cubans didn’t have many chances to climb up the group and play in quarter finals of the tournament. Definitely Trinidad & Tobago are the better team with experienced players like Kenwyne Jones, Joevin Jones, Lester Peltier, Aubrey David and goalkeeper Jan-Michael Williams. Team’s captain Kenwyne Jones played in England’s Premier League for many years and he is most experienced player in Stephen Hart’s team. The coach will rely him leading the team to the victory which will mean that Trinidad & Tobago are in quarter finals.

Woes for Cuba National Team

Cuba National team is in deep trouble as they were exposed in the last encounter against Mexico. They were not only defeated by submitted in front of a stronger side Mexico. Undoubtedly, it was clearly visible the Cuba National team is missing their six key players. This has been the worrying factor for Cuba ever since before entering into Gold Cup 2015. One of the six players and their head coach is outside United States after failing to produce paperwork required for securing visa for travelling to US. Amongst the six players included, goal keeper Sandy Sanchez, star forward Maykel Reyes, winger Arichel Hernandez, and defenders Daniel Luis Saez, Andy Baquero, and Arturo Diz Pe. These young players are living in Puerto Rico for the Caribbean qualification tournament for Gold Cup U-23 Olympic qualification event. Amongst those young players, at least four of them would have appeared for Cuba national team in Gold Cup 2015 but it is clearly looking like that the team is missing their young players on the field. The second problem which impacted performance of team was that forward Keilen Garcia deserted the team ahead of the opener against Mexico. Garcia did not report to the team on Wednesday and national team reported for investigation of hotel and law enforcement for player desertions. Going by the visa problem of 6 players and another desertion by a star player had left Cuba in deep problems. Even the Goalkeeper Sanchez had a red card in World Cup qualifying match earlier. In short Cuba was down with 16 players in the squad of 23 allotted players for Gold Cup. These problems not only discouraged the morale of the team but it was clearly evident in the field as they were not able to even come close to matching standards set by Mexico national team in their previous encounter.

Trinidad & Tobago Favourites to win Match

Clearly going by the past performance from Trinidad & Tobago and given the fact that Cuba had so many problems to deal with, it looks like an easy match for Trinidad & Tobago. Not many people would rate Cuba to come out of these tragic circumstances as they would be down and out completely after a complete drubbing at the hands of Mexico last time. It would need an inspired performance from one of the experienced players to come out of these major tragic circumstances. On the other hand TnT would be looking for another inspired performance in next match against Cuba and try to secure their place in the knockout stages and advance quickly. They had a great performance from Cato C, Jones J and Bateau S. (Hyland K.) as they were able to pull off a great victory against Guatemala. Still they won’t be taking Cuba which could come up with a surprise against them.  It would be delight for supporters and team lovers to watch this interesting encounter on 12th July.

Trinidad Tobago vs Cuba Prediction Who Will Win

Trinida Tobabo will win the match 2-1

After the victory against Guatemala Trinidad & Tobago will search the same against the weak team of Cuba. They play with Mexico in the last stage of group matches and it should be clear that they will want to achieve their quarter finals place earlier.
