Watford vs West Brom Premier Leagure Predictions Who Will Win 15th Aug 2015
Watford started their campaign in the Premier League with an impressive game where they held Everton to a 2-2 draw and collected their first points in the Premiership. But their opponent for the week, West Bromwich Albion, were on a receiving end from Manchester City last week. West Brom lost their match with a 0-3 drubbing at the hands of City and would like to overturn the tables as soon as possible.
Flores, the Watford manager, spoke about the way the team selection works by saying:
“If a player does not start the season in the team, that does not mean he cannot recover a role within the squad. We have to decide on each player’s role during the week – sometimes certain players connect a little bit later with the staff and the team. Vydra may have to wait a little bit more.
I like the players to be happy in the week and then we have to decide on their role depending on their feelings and performance in training. But I am very happy with the squad. We have 10 new players, but they have adapted very, very quickly, they try to understand the philosophy of the team and we have the tools to do something good.”
West Brom on the other hand have some selection woes due to injuries. But the manager would be hopeful that the former Liverpool player, Ricky Lambert and Berahino wake up to their duties and get back to scoring.
Watford vs West Brom Predictions Who Will Win
Watford will win this Match
West Bromwich Albion have never lost to Watford in the last 14 matches, however all these matches were played in the second tier. The last time both teams met in the top most level was in 1985. It seems even now, West Bromwich would emerge winners with a scoreline of 2-0.
Head to Head
West Bromwich Albion and Watford have played against each other only 35 times with West Brom winning 17 off them. But it is surprising to notice that Watford has won 10 games too. It certainly proves that Watford are no minor teams and have the capability to compete at the highest levels.
